Setup Guide
Everything you need to install your Canva Stream Deck profile and start designing faster.

Install the Stream Deck Profile
The Canva Pro Fastlane Stream Deck profile includes all the custom icons, page layouts, and shortcut triggers. No additional shortcut files are needed — everything works out of the box with Canva’s built-in keyboard shortcuts.
Locate the .streamDeckProfile file
Find the .streamDeckProfile file in your download folder that matches your operating system.
e.g. Canva Pro Fastlane – Stream Deck Plus (Win).streamDeckProfile
Double-click to install
Double-click the .streamDeckProfile file. The Elgato Stream Deck app will open automatically and prompt you to install the profile.
Select your device and confirm
If you have multiple Stream Decks connected, choose the correct device when prompted. Click Install to confirm.
Set it to auto-activate with Canva (optional)
In the Stream Deck app, click the profile dropdown and select Edit Profiles… Select the Canva Fastlane profile, then set the Application dropdown to your browser (Chrome, Firefox, etc.). The profile will now switch automatically whenever Canva is in focus. We recommend this so you don’t have to manually switch profiles.

How the Profile Works
The Canva Pro Fastlane Stream Deck profile uses two types of actions to control Canva:
Keyboard Shortcuts
Core actions like Undo, Redo, Copy, Paste, Bold, and Italic use Canva’s native keyboard shortcuts. These work instantly and require no setup.
Search-Based Actions
Advanced features like Magic Write, Background Remover, Filters, and alignment tools use Canva’s / search menu. The Stream Deck types the command automatically — just make sure your cursor is on the canvas (not inside a text box) before pressing the button.
Note: Search-based actions require Canva Pro. If a button doesn’t seem to work, check that your cursor is on the canvas and not inside a text element.
Keyboard layout note: Canva’s keyboard shortcuts are designed for the QWERTY layout. If you use a different keyboard layout (QWERTZ, AZERTY), the shortcut keys will correspond to the physical key positions on a QWERTY keyboard, not the labels on your keys.
